Is Charis Worship a new church start?

We’ve subtitled Charis Worship as “A Post Modern Faith Community” which indicates that we are a church.

Charis Worship is a ministry of Piedmont First United Methodist Church. However, it is not designed to pull in members that will eventually “graduate” to our Sunday morning services. It is a separate worship service that may speak to individuals in ways our current Sunday morning traditional services wouldn’t.

If someone attending Charis was interested in joining the church, he or she would certainly be welcome to do so and would not be considered somehow inferior to the members that attend on Sunday morning.

However, some worshippers may already be active members in another congregation on Sunday mornings and simply attend Charis Worship as a separate spiritual discipline.

Certainly all of the activities and ministries offered by Piedmont First United Methodist Church are always open to the public!
